Strider plus is a lot wider at the back wheel base and struggles to fit though some door ways , than the compact! I have a compact and I love it, although it's not the lightest pram. I have the compact cause I wanted to get through doors I believe the compact is lighter than the plus.

If you have a look on the britax website you can compare the The compact is only about 1kg lighter and from memory about 8cm difference in the wheel base. I have a plus and I love it. Yes it's wide but I never really found this to be a major issue. I looked at both of these extensively before I bought the compact second hand.
