Marie- I am sorry to hear of the repair issue you are having. Please email me at socialmediasupport lingo. Problem started when Lingo bought Birch, Dec Lingo claimed they had not received our Dec payment yet their bank ran our check through their account 3 days before due date. After many phone calls, mailing copies of the canceled check they finally credited our account in JUNE OF - all the while adding "late payment charges" and finance charges on the late payment charges.

This has been going on very close to 3 years and they still continue to add "late payment"!! I am sorry to hear of any payment posting issues you may have had I would like to take a look into this for you.

Original price for 2 VOIP landline phones one personal, one business was good. Function was not so good. Often had to call 2 or even 3 times before call would go through. Often waited seconds for our phone to even start ringing the number we were calling, then phone would hang up.

When we would redial it would usually start ringing almost immediately — but we had to redial more often than not. Further, there were always 3 LOUD noises at beginning and end of each call which both we and the person receiving the call would hear. Very annoying and not professional. Also, people would often call and leave a message, but the message would not be there. We decided enough was enough and called to cancel the service. This is where it really got interesting.

The customer service person was very nice and relatively easy to understand. After confirming our name and address, he asked for the credit card number that paid the bill! I gave him the last 4 digits and he said that was correct but he needed the entire number. I could understand why that might be the case so I gave it to him. Then he asked for the expiration date, which made me a little suspicious but I gave that to him also. But then he asked for the 3 digit code on the back of the card.

When I told him I was not going to give him that he insisted that he had to have it in order to give me a number that could be referred to for their records. I repeated that he was not going to get it. He repeated, reading from a script, that he could not give me the number without it. That's when I decided this was a scam, told him what I thought, and hung up on him. So now the question is what to do, i.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. This is not the practice of Lingo. We would be very interested to get more information from you regarding this call. Could you please email socialmediasupport lingo. We would like to pull the call. Thanks to Paula Lingo she was able to resolve my issue and even state a refund is due.

I appreciate her assistance and that of Consumer Affairs. I contacted this company to have the landline disconnected at my home. Much to my surprise I found out this was a contracted phone my former roommate had signed up for.

I you cancel before a the maturity date you are charged a early termination fee. I sent a e-mail that he had moved out and I was willing to pay only the final bill but no early term fee.

I was told that a manager would reach out to me and no one has but they did disconnect the service anyway. I don't like this company. They are shady in the business dealings, service quality is poor, lots of extra fees.

I will not be paying any early term fee and I don't want his credit damaged either. I didn't even think was possible to get a contracted landline phone. Pamela - I am sorry to hear of the issue. Can you please email me your account number or phone number to socialmediasupport lingo. The best thing I can say about this company is when they want your business, they are very attentive. Any other issues after they hook you? Forget IT. I have tried a numerous times over a month or two to cancel service.

Each time I have to be rerouted to another department and another department, then on hold for 30 minutes plus only to be hung up on. I then specifically emailed Lingo.
